病假，是指劳动者本人因患病或非因工负伤，需要停止工作医疗时，企业应该根据劳动者本人实际参加工作年限和在本单位工作年限，给予一定的医疗假期。病假期劳动者可照常拿工资，对于病假工资，不低于当地最低工资的80%。病假单，或者病假条，是医生给病人开具的病情证明文件。
Sick leave refers to when a worker needs to stop working for medical treatment due to illness or non-work-related injuries. According to the New York Daily News, a recent survey shows that the vast majority of people who call the company to ask for sick leave are really unwell. 85% of employees who ask for sick leave are really sick.
Art Papas, president of Fite.com, who conducted the survey, said frankly that he did not expect that so many people who asked for sick leave were really sick. “Most bosses are suspicious, and it is easy for them to think that employees are lying when they ask for sick leave.” In fact, bosses do not have to speculate so much.
