A picture book, simply put, as long as the text of the entire book is removed, the reader can know what the story of the entire book is saying only by relying on the pictures of the entire book, and it can be called a picture book.
Picture books are often confused by story books that are mainly illustrations. If the whole book is mainly written, even if there are illustrations on each page, after removing the entire text, if the reader can’t see the ins and outs of the whole story by looking at the pictures, it is a story book. Picture books are divided into age groups. Children’s picture books are mainly published for toddlers and children, and are mostly oriented to content suitable for toddlers and children to read. Adult picture books are mainly picture books read by adults.
Among the departments of the university, picture books do not have their own department or research institute. Picture books are classified as elective or compulsory credits in the Department of Early Childhood Education, Department of Fine Arts, or the Institute of Children’s Literature.
